Holy Trinity Church, Ripon
08/11/2026 - 3pm

Ripon Concerts is delighted to welcome pianist Reina Okada for an afternoon that brings together live music and the art of ballet on film. The first half features a wide-ranging and beautifully curated recital programme, before the concert culminates in something truly special: a live performance of Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition in its original piano version, accompanying a screening of London City Ballet's celebrated production. Reina originally performed the score alongside the live ballet; we are delighted to bring this unique combination of live piano and film to Ripon for the first time.

'She brilliantly captured the grandeur of the Great Gate of Kiev, the humour of the Chickens and the menace of Gnomus in Mussorgsky's piano score for Pictures.' Bachtrack
