Old friends return in a new formation. The Treske Quartet join forces with cellist Lucy Hoile to explore the string quintet repertoire in an afternoon that culminates in one of the great masterpieces of chamber music — Schubert's String Quintet in C major. The programme also features Glazunov's String Quintet and John Cage's Five, making for a thoughtfully varied and rewarding afternoon.
