The Marlborough Piano Quartet w Peter Buckoke double bass

Programme:

Bridge Phantasy Piano Quartet
Vaughan WilliamsPiano Quintet
Schubert”Trout” Quintet

The members of the Marlborough Piano Quartet are pianist Anna Tilbrook, violinist Boris Brovtsyn, violist Simone van der Giessen and cellist Ben Hughes.
(please note change of viola and cello - for details see the NEWS section above)

For this concert they will be joined by Peter Buckoke double bass.

Vaughan Williams wrote his quintet specially to complement Schubert's Trout Quintet with its unusual combination of piano violin viola cello and double bass.

No one who enjoys Schubert's refreshingly tuneful music should miss this concert.
